Howard County Police were called to the 6000 block of Old Washington Boulevard for reports of a possible home invasion around 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 3.
According to investigators, when police arrived at the home, they found the body of a man inside with "signs of trauma."
Howard County Fire officials were also called to the residence to extinguish a small fire at the home.
One person has reportedly been taken into custody.
